Oh my luuvy...ohmyword...I was reading along so happily and enjoying your story so much and then, now, I'm all a'tears, so very very sweet this is better than marriage or babies sweet...someone who listens with their heart and knows the secret treasures, knows value beyond thinking and shares such with you. Oh my dearest luuvy... I'm going back and finish your tale now, tears have subsided 'nough to do so. More later, this is delightful.

And so it goes.... the promise possiblity of three. I will say I've quotes to make beginning with "Elizabeth" and ending with "Bess". God the sheer weight of her solitude, no, not that becos that to me means joyous aloneness...rather abandonment, lonesomeness, yeah, nobody nowhere no one...just yourself. And she had been utterly surrounded one way or the other since she fell from the battlements hadn't she...been in someone's "care"--And now, married, but no one, how utterly disgusting that is. I have hated really fully truly hated that part of the movies from the git-go. Seems just like the worst cruel joke of the world to have worked so hard to be with someone to be saved and then to have it ripped away forever!!!!! Aaugh!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, back to....his small, secretive half-smile... Oh Jack, long breathy sigh here...you said recently I wrote a Jack to fall in love with and you my dear piratista, you've writ his heart here, the sweet, the sexy, the dangerous, the reliable, CJS. And I am swooning (delightful word donchaknow) ( ... )

Surely one of the darkest times of her life, to experience that severing of every tie of love, of support, of comfort. After losing her mother as a child, this had to be one of her greatest and most long-held fears, now sadly and tragically realised. Not only loss, but complete and utter abandonment. As you say, particularly cruel, especially for a woman in that day and age, to be all alone in the world.

Oh, my! Surely not as good as all that! Though, admittedly, I've little experience with either marriage or babies, I'm deeply grateful for the heartfelt sentiment (and the tears!). They're very much appreciated! :-)

someone who listens with their heart and knows the secret treasures, knows value beyond thinking and shares such with you.

I'll tell you, my heart broke along with Elizabeth's when Weatherby died in AWE, because it was not very long after my own father had passed away, so I could empathise with what the character was going through, at that point and after: the circumstances may have been different, but I'd been right where she was. You cope as best you can: soldier through the grief--just keep busy, focus on other things, and not think about your loss (or, in Elizabeth's case, losses), because it's the only thing you can do to keep ( ... )

Eureka! A new sparrabeth fic from Kat, and a wonderful one. When Jack starts to school her about how to hand Tai Huang, I was all in--totally seeing him, hearing him. Now, can we get on to later, when sleep is not the imperative???

Hope you like my new one too, Kat. Sparrabeth lives!

Eureka! A new sparrabeth fic from Kat, and a wonderful one.

Always happy to oblige a fellow devoted Sparrabether (both you and GeekMama--hope we're not a dying breed!), and especially grateful for the "wonderful" comment! :-)

When Jack starts to school her about how to hand Tai Huang, I was all in--totally seeing him, hearing him.

Wow! Thank you! I do love when Jack suddenly shifts from teasing!Jack to serious!Jack in a heartbeat. That's when all masks totally drop away, and we see the REAL Jack, the man of substance and intellect beneath all the artifice and jackanapery. (Just like that deleted rumrunner's island scene from COBP, where he shows Elizabeth his scars, which is the tone I was going for here.) I'm truly chuffed that you found that bit so effective in conjuring up that aspect of Jack, and made a point of mentioning it.

Now, can we get on to later, when sleep is not the imperative???LOL! You know, actually, that was my primary motivation for writing PotC fic: finding a way of getting Jack and Elizabeth them in the ( ... )

Oh my! What an amazing and wonderful surprise this was! I had no idea you were working on this. I really can't thank you enough!

"You're the same as you ever were, darlin'. Clever, and spirited… beautiful, pragmatic, admirably ruthless when need demands...

This is the way it should be, Jack coming to her rescue yet again (as she later observes).

But it seems she rescues him as well, pretty regularly.

Truly they were made for each other, whether as friends or lovers. Two peas in a pod.

Thank you for illustrating that so vividly. Sweet dreams indeed.

*hugs you, bouncing*

Thanks! Not surprising that you forgot about this one. (After all, it only took me a year and three months to crank it out, thanks to my near-comatose, and very unproductive, muse. Guess it's about time to pull the plug on her and take applications for a replacement muse)! I figured you'd just about given up hope on me fulfiling your request! So glad to pull off a happy surprise! ;-)

I really can't thank you enough!

Actually, thank YOU for your infinite patience! :-)

LOL! He does seem to alway be in the right place, at the right time to pull her from the brink of disaster, doesn't he? Surely must be the hand of Fate (or, dare I say, True Love)? ;-)

That was such a treat to read! ♥

Thank you!!! :-)

The way in which you write them both is so wonderful. The dialogue is FANTASTIC & their voices ring so... them!

Highest praise indeed (particularly coming from someone who writes such wonderful Sparrabeth herself, so you definitely have a thorough "feel" for the subject matter)! ;-)

It's awesome. I loved reading this fic! :]

And I truly love the fact that you loved it! :-D

Thank you for reading, and taking the time to make such lovely comments! I appreciate it so much! :-)
