ok i need to rant about this band. how i love love love guns and roses (watch their behind the music - sleazy fun!), but i love them with axl, slash, duff, izzy & stephen. i do not like the revamped g-n-r with buckethead, some nine inch nails dude & botoxed axl. watching the guns and roses behind the music & thinking about axl's descent into

First, watch me kick myself as I once again realize that I did not take my chance to see Jane's Addiction before they broke up. Deja vu..very 1991.

Second. I don't like Velvet Revolver and I don't get all the fuss. The minute that first song came out the DJs were sporting huge boners and going on about how it's the greatest song ever!!..then they played it, I listened, I thought it sucked and turned the station. Then they were playing here like 2 weeks after the release of that horrible song and everyone was acting like it was the second coming of Christ or something...I just didn't get what the fuss was about. I didn't even realize that was Scott Weiland..shows what I know. I don't even care that much for Audioslave, but I'd take them anyday over that Velvet Revolver shite.

Third. I'll never forget getting trampled during Mr.Brownstone when GnR opened for Aerosmith. I was young (about 15?) drunk white trash..and they rocked. Seeing Axel now really taints that memory.

yeah - you should have went to lollapalooza last year. jane's rocked. queens of the stone age were also stellar & any event celebrating chris cornell is always a good thing! :)

i never listen to the radio here because all the stations suck ass, but i have seen the velvet revolver video with weiland slinking around. that fruity vj on mtv2 goes on & on & on about them. it's not that bad of a song until weiland starts in with his layne staley impersonation. i always like to look at slash playing guitar against his fabo stomach.

boooo you! that tour gnr & aerosmith came here & it sold out & i couldn't go!!! :( i always wanted to see axl & the appetite for destruction era was so wonderful. i miss that kind of sleazy rock.
