Just finished marking exams and assignments. And inputting the grades. If I hear one complaint from my students today then I will threaten to give them the grades they actually deserve - a healthy 7% deduction for them all. Don't worry about not being attractive. Or worry if you like; I will assure you otherwise.
And undersing in choir when you can tonight. Singing exhausted is too hard on the voice.

And yeah - my brief stint as a TA showed me that students believe that if they just show up, they deserve that degree. I remember a conversation with one woman who couldn't understand why her eye-bleedingly awful essay got a D.
