Well, if the orange still had the pips in it, there's a good chance the charm simply gave you as correct an answer as it could. I'll do a test the next time you come to see me -- it can determine overall foetal health, and certainly sex, but a reliable paternity test will need to wait until after the child is born. To the best of my knowledge there is one possible test for paternity that can be done before birth, but no realistic Healer would perform it nowadays. It's a barbaric and terribly dangerous piece of Dark magic, better relegated to the days when a desperate young witch would have considered herself lucky to die in childbed rather than to live with her 'shame' for the rest of her life.
