I'm feeling rather better today. The situation with fred's work still sucks, it's true. But at least my other stresses are somewhat behind me. I have:

-Turned in our lease, deposits and first month's rent (well, really Fred did)
-Arranged to pick up the key tomorrow
-Set up electricity to be installed Wednesday and paid a $150 deposit

Today was my first day working for DTN, and it was pretty slow-going. My editor thought I had already been set up on a few of their programs, but I wasn't, so that took some time. I was also supposed to join a training class on one of those programs, but since I wasn't set up yet, that was out.

When you make a stupid driving mistake out on the roadways that doesn't result in an accident, that's embarassing enough. But it has sort of an anonymous quality to it.
