thank you. I will try a few things on there.
She is teething, thats why I think she is doing it, with no forewarning and she is also doing it when the letdown isnt fast enough.. stinker!!!
I am sooo sore today.. I will try though, weening her didnt cross my mind. I was just totally scared she would literally bite the nipple off. LOL

8 months with only breastmilk is TOTALLY normal. I know I would end the nursing if my baby kept biting. I don't yell or react, I just unlatch and put her down. :-/ Maybe the site will give you more tips, etc.

Eva only bit me two times. The first time took me so off guard that I yelped which made her cry and TOTALLY refuse to nurse on that side for the rest of the day. The second time, she did it for "fun," and I yelled and she never did it again...

I have no suggestions!! She listened when I told her "no!" And yeah, nursing even exclusively without "food" for a YEAR is fine, if mutually agreeable and baby is thriving. So don't worry about that... but if she keeps biting, well, she'll just have to wean and eat something else. Keep trying!
