Can I just say how great it is to share a fridge with someone who
a) does not gouge the butter!
b) knows what that means!

BUT!!!!

does the butter get left with a smooth surface or with serration tracks? and if it's serration tracks are they neatly circular or do they cross the grain?

I am a huge nerd for
a: understanding your original post
b: expanding on the concept
c: in general
d: all of the above.

The answer is d, definitely d! However, clearly I can appreciate that.

I do sometimes gouge the butter, but only because I know how much Chris enjoys smoothing it out when he uses it next...=0)
