Reanimation

On top of the stomach virus, a couple days ago I seem to have also picked up the sore throat and icky nose that the daycare kids were passing around. And the combination just knocked me out. Like I was literally sleeping most of this past weekend. Saturday was okay -- I made leprechaun pancakes and milk and hunted for leprechaun gold coins in the ( Read more... )

I hope your health starts to really improve from the virus soon. I didn't realize it could also bring on other issues. Are they hereditary?

How wonderful of Dustin to help you like that, it must have felt like a godsend.

Facebook gets on my nerves more and more lately. It feels so very redundant. I just share from someone else cute things mostly unless I am upset and then I might do a political share and regret it 5 minutes later and delete it, lol.

Still snow, jeez!

For the neurological issues, I don't know what they are. They started suddenly when I was 23. I have pins and needles in my left hand, left foot and left cheek and that side becomes clumsy, like it's a fake limb to drag around. It peaks each month around my cycle for a day or so and then is usually gone the rest of the time (unless I get sick).

I went through lots of testing initially, but the experience was bad. Because my father and brother have M.S. I was told I was attention seeking and to try hypnotherapy or something. I switched doctors and she told me there are literally 100s of unknown neurological issues, and that I have one. I had two MRIs and they both look fine, so we concluded I just get to live with it. I'm 34 now and didn't even bother mentioning it to my current primary care physician, but I keep thinking maybe I should.

Oh gosh. First off how awful about the MS in your family. Between that and your symptoms, I hope you do mention to your current primary care when you have a chance.

How odd that the symptoms flare up with your cycle. Our bodies and neurological issues sure are complex.

Thank you for explaining!
