A family friend in the village is moving away, I learned today. He has always fixed our computers for us. I wonder what we will do without him... learn about computers ourselves, perhaps.

I want to practice some Greek after writing this, but I feel very tired, so maybe it's not such a good idea.

Can't think of anything else.

Last winter, I came home only to find a family friend, warmhearted aunt Zhang was gone. As we get older, our beloved elders would be gone one by one. But I never thought it was so fast.
Er, I write this to cheer you up, not upset you. Your friend moved for a better life. He/She is still alive. If you are friends, you can talk, tease, ask help as usual. So don't keep sad.

Oh no he hasn't died. He's moving onto what he needs to do next and there's plenty to occupy myself otherwise; thanks for your thoughts.
I find I'm never in control of my feelings; whether I'm happy or sad, there seems to be something else writing the program for me. What part of the world are you from (I thought perhaps not from where I am by your writing style)?

Maybe we will be in more control when we are older. I am not sure whether it's good or not. I'm less sensitive than in high school, but missing the passion and energy that was in company with various emotion. It's lucky that flowers, cats, novels, music can touch my soul as much as childhood. Most adults don't care little things, pity.
Er, I lost my point again. I mean, sensitive is a good character, much better than indiffernt. Just keep balance. I am a college student in Beijing of China, not good at English writing. Please don't tease me.

I won't tease, I promise.

I had a good friend from China whom I met on my silly adventures in India; his English was very good, and yours is too.

I lose my point all the time. Balance is tricky to keep to, but worth trying for, I agree. Keep engaging with those things you like, is a good way to be, if you ask me. Flowers are so nice in the spring, I don't know of anything more colourful than they are.

How's college going; what are you doing there? Are you reading any novels at the moment?

Thanks for getting in touch with me.
