Well well well, I can't remember when I started on these ornaments... maybe a week ago? I now have 5 finished! Well, the stitching part is done, I will still need to do the finishing bit. So, I'm ahead of schedule, and am now hoping I can get more than my goal of 10 done! I will wait until I reach that goal though, before I reset it. I would

So, tell me about this project for your mum! Is it big, small, what's the subject? How long ago did you start it? Have you posted a picture of it? I keep finding more and more projects to add to my "want to finish in 2006 list"... Good luck getting your project done soon! Cheers, Bonnie

The one I'm doing is about 30 x 25 cm all up (well, it's meant to be but I'm using a different count material). I only started on friday and I've already stuffed it up!! It's a picture of a bouquet of flowers, with "Mother" at the top and "with love" at the bottom. It's not a really complicated design, but I'm doing it on 25ct Laguna (pretty much just evenweave) and doing it 2 over 2, but I managed to miscount and did something one row off!! So now I have to unpick the border that I started, and a heart so that I can put everything back to the right rows!!
The design is from a book by this person. It's very bright and pretty! Once I fix up the stuff up, I'll probably post a picture!
