And as much as I'm not usually into kid fic, this is a really interesting and well worked take on it. Also, I think the idea of Mere not resorting to morbid and depressed in the wake of what's happened. I hope they don't do that to her on the show, because she's been a nice, refreshing change lately.
i feel like George needed the mention. Because he will be the best guardian angel ever.
and yeah, i don't do the babies either; but after all Shonda has been going on about how the real death from the episode was the miscarriage (srsly. that's what she said. not like anyone else. the embryo) so I guess it needed the emphasis. it kept building in my head as I lazied in the pool, me a high school graduate and all. =)
