Our long national nightmare continues because... Fuck Mitch McConnell. I can NOT believe he's still going to be Senate Majority Leader. UGH! There's still a modicum of hope, I guess, because there are 2 seats in play in Georgia, which will be decided in January, but until then... yeah. *sigh*
And, honestly, I know Biden isn't the optimum choice for President, but he's a fuck ton better than what we've had for the past four years. At the very least, he'll install competent people in various cabinet and other positions. Though even there I've heard rumblings about the Senate giving him problems with his appointees. To that I say, "Fuck that! Just have them be "acting" in whatever position. After all, there's precedent now. HA!"
So... Good luck, Georgia! I hope you're able to elect two Democratic Senators come January!
