Yesterday, I finished reading the 2nd "Firefly" novel, The Magnificent Nine by James Lovegrove, and I loved it!

I just watched the launch of NASA/SpaceX's Dragon to the ISS, and it was just... awe-inspiring. And pretty damn cool.

So much of my life is wrapped up in space stuff. I have vivid memories of watching Neil Armstrong et al landing on the moon. We lived in Georgia where my dad was stationed at a Naval Base, but were visiting my grandparents in Iowa. ( Read more... )

So. Apparently TV shows that have been canceled can be brought back from the brink. And I'm not talking about the more well-known ones like Arrested Development's return via Netflix or Veronica Mars' via Kickstarter - awesome as those both are. While watching Castle last night, I found out that Body of Proof is returning in a few weeks. Yay! There've been some casting changes since last season, so boo, but [Casting Spoiler]Mark Valley has joined the cast, so yay!
