Basics
*Name: Jen.
*Age: 20.
*Location: Ohio.

You
*Likes:I like a lot of things. Pretty things, things that make my heart hurt just-so, things that make the world a better place. Jewelry. Politics. Debating. Reading and writing, baking and sewing, shopping and history. Having fun.
*Dislikes:Idiots. Math in general - I’ve never gotten beyond hating fractions with every bit of my nine-year-old heart, and my hatred for the subject just gets stronger. Boring people. Really hot weather. Having straight hair when both of my parents and my two younger brothers have gorgeous curls. Spiders.
*List 3-5 Positive Things About Yourself: Cheerful. Entertaining. Dramatic. Friendly. Creative.
*List 3-5 Negative Things About Yourself: Bossy. Spoiled. Stubborn. I’m a VERY bad procrastinator.
*Ambitions for the Future: I’m - not really a hugely ambitious person. I want to become a teacher, get married, have children. That’s it. :)
*If you could live in any time period, what would it be and why? Oh, God, I don’t know. Probably the 18th century, but I’m picking this solely because I’m shallow and like the fashions and décor back then. I love reading about various historical periods, but I have to admit I enjoy the freedom I have here and now, and I know that wouldn’t be afforded to me in most time periods.
*Describe your ideal adventure: I want to see Europe! The history, the sights - I just want to set out on a Grand Tour.

Either/Or

*Passive or Aggressive: Aggressive.
*Selfish or Generous:. I have to admit that I have a tendency to be selfish when I’m not thinking, but I try to keep that in check.
*Old Fashioned or Modern: Old-fashioned, I suppose.
*Do You Prefer to work: Alone or With Others: I like to work with others - although I want to be in charge when I do so - because I enjoy the company. When left to my own devices, I get bored.
*Rules are Meant to be: Broken or Followed: It depends entirely on the rule.

The Book/Movie and You

*Do you prefer the book or movie? I love both immensely, but I watch the movie more than I reread the book.
*Favorite film version/actor or actress from a certain version: I loved Winona Ryder as Jo in the 1994 version, although I loved pretty much every other casting choice just as much.
*Who is your favorite character and why? Amy. I relate to her a lot - and when I was younger, I was so much like young!Amy it’s kind of scary - and she’s always seemed very sympathetic to me. In the past few years I’ve grown to love Meg a lot more, though.
*Who is your least favorite character and why? Beth. She’s just SO sweet and kind and perfect, and I sort of bristle at that.
*Do you have a favorite part of the movie? Probably Laurie’s proposal to Jo, although it tends to break my heart. But the scene near the beginning with the sisters talking about what they want out of life is a close second.
*Favorite quote and why? "We'll all grow up one day, Meg. We might as well know what we want."
*If Jo were to write a thrilling operatic tragedy, what kind of character would you like to play? (i.e.: the damsel in distress, the hero, the villain, a magical creature such as a troll or hag, etc.) I would probably be the damsel in distress. Provided she got to wear a pretty dress, anyway.
