Internet became boring

.. or not? Back in 1997 when I joined internet there was only little to do. Browsing web pages, mailing, chatting and everything was damn slow but fun!! I think because it was new, people in that time was amazed by possibilities and so they were much more open and responsive to others ( Read more... )

... not to mention the new Twitter and other immediate message systems are taking over blogs ;) So in the near future we will not only have no personal websites as you describe them, but also the last chance of finding a valuable content in the blog feed will vanish in favour of the sea of gazillion twitterish post-it notes from everyone's life. They come, they go. What was posted one hour ago is no longer important.
The world is speeding up. So is internet.

Yes. That's true. Funny fact about this services is that they looks like you are able to share your life with others but it is much more un-personal than a homepage. It is like here, look my photos this is how I live. Ok, I see a flat, it may be a your home .. hmm now I see a girl .. who is it? But you still doesn't know anything about that person. Right now at twitter I'm following few furries from USA. I following them for a year but I don't know absolutely nothing about them. Simply a zero .. useless.
