Righto. More exciting donut/science interaction at 5 o'clock this thursday; it all sounds a bit like Asimov's Foundation to me. On the other hand, statistical physics is my turf so I might stand a cat in hell's chance of knowing something about it.

I've managed three. I will reach this sacred goal one day though. Is it cheating if you use stimulants?

I think it might be. They found this out by getting a bunch of students to sit in a room, and if they looked like they were nodding off someone fired a klaxon at them. I've tried it but I always end up thinking "why the fuck am I doing this?" about a day and a half in.
