Thanks to a long pause between my old job and my new job, I'm enjoying 11 days of not having to do anything. This is a little harder for me than you might imagine. Being raised by multitaskers has led me to believe that rest is wasteful ( Read more... )

Denny and I are trying our best to take advantage of our last few "just the two of us" months. Just little stuff, like going to the movies together (without worrying about a sitter or if the baby is going to cry in the middle of the film), little spur-of-the-moment overnight trips, etc. We went to a nice theater last night and it was weird to think that in 12 weeks (12 weeks!) this is all going to get more complicated x 100.

Oh, and concerts! I know it's silly, and I'm not even that big a concert fan, but if something comes up and we're even remotely interested in seeing it, we go for it these days.
