I am wearing shorts for the first time in 11 years. My legs feel cool, but naked. Everyone keeps commenting on my legs, and the fact that they look nice. I am self-conscious. Did I mention that I feel naked?

The puppy has been sleepy and lazy. He was too tired to stand up and drink, so he laid down to do it. He's adorable.

I am the most tired.

This morning, as I was driving to work, I suddenly remembered why I go through all of this this every day. I remembered, for a brief second, that I am in the process of building an amazing life with an amazing man and an amazing puppy. I treat Siegfried the Puppy too much like a baby and not enough like the barking/rolling in mud/farting machine that he is. He really is gross, but I love him and he loves me and we live our happy little life. I'm just glad I'm not allergic to him ( Read more... )
