I went to the barn for the first time since Rosie died. I wanted to see the horses and I told Shannon and Jill that I would continue to do the weekday feeds and be available to cover on weekends. I can't really express how comforting it is to know that there are all these people who saw what I saw in Rosie, and who wished us all happiness, and who have been so generous and kind in the face of what has been one of the most devastating losses of my life. I am so sorry. I am thinking of you and the way your eyes have *always* lighted up when talking about Rosie. Life is also death, and sorrow. That part sucks.
