It’s not fair.
Why am I not in any sub-units of Super Junior?
The rest of them are in one sub-unit or another, or in some case like Eun Hyuk and Ye Sung, they are in two sub-units! So why?
It was in the late afternoon where Kibum had those rare moments when he’s actually free, and the rest have schedules, so it’s him alone in the dormitory. And the same question crept to him again for the umpteen time.
Case #1: Super Junior K.R.Y
Okay, he admits defeat. Sure, he can attempt a rap or dance, but singing is definitely not his niche. Half of his fans would be gone by the time he finished singing a song. So, it’s alright to be left out of this sub-unit.
Case #2: Super Junior Trot
His image will be ruined, especially if Hee Chul in it too. All the years of image building will be gone in one flash. He’s not gonna dance to Rokkugo for sure.
Case #3: Super Junior Mandarin
He can’t speak Chinese, but the rest don’t too, except for Hankyung who’s a Chinese and Siwon who studied in China before. Sulking a little, Kibum takes a deep breath, hoping to calm himself down. He is positively sure that he could come up with a better dance for the rap part, where Kangin hyung had ruined it when they filmed Full House 2 years ago.
Case #4: Super Junior Happy
So, does it mean he’s unhappy? Kim Kibum of Super Junior is a depressed human being, and anything remotely linked to happiness is killing him. His fans will be shocked if he actually carried a pink toy snake and danced in pajamas. For Kim Kibum of Super Junior would not be Kim kibum if he does this.
Letting out a groan, so what’s he good at? Is this his fate to be the odd one out, with no one in the group to connect with him?
Just then, his phone rang, breaking the silence of the dorm. Sighing, he picked up the call, cursing mentally in his head at the one who called and killed the silence.
“Yah!! Kibummie!!! How’re you doing rotting at home for once? Bet you must be glad! Tell you-----”
“Hey, Kibum it’s me, Hankyung hyung. Just wait little while, hyung home cooking go you!”
“Yah, stop corrupting Kibummie’s mind with your broken Korean! Your broken Korean is getting on my nerves; I’m gonna hit you!”
“Shut, shut up! Anyway, don’t mind Heechul. See you later, Kibum!”
And the line went dead.
Shaking his head at the two’s behavior, Kibum felt a grin creeping up his face. Even though he had yet to discover his purpose in Super Junior, he knew that he was loved by his members, whom he called brothers.
