Stuff is tasty. I haven't made it in a while but it is probably my favorite dessert bread. It doesn't taste like zucchini but it is very moist because of the veggie. I make sure to add nuts (because I really like nuts) but I avoid raisins because I don't think they would make a good texture addition. I usually like raisins but not in this ( Read more... )

As you can tell, I don't actually check or post very often. I now mostly have it to harrass other lj users. ;P

Good thing harrassment by you is often fun to be a part of ;3

I tried to get on a baking kick a couple of years ago, but I didn't have the tools or the patience. I did get a good recipe for a yummy moist pumpkin bread, tho, so that's now my only specialty~

I have yet to make pumpkin bread. Sounds tasty. But you should get the tools. I have gotten to where I really like to cook as long as I am not just doing it for myself. I can't get the motivation up if I am the only one that is going to enjoy it. (Me? A showoff? Never!)

I have a bunch of cookbooks and I go to epicurious.com for a lot of my recipes. Epicurious is great as long as a bunch of people have reviewed the recipe and always, always, always read the comments. You could have something rated with 3.75 "forks" and it could be crap the way it is written but the cooks have fixed it and shared how in the comments.

Speaking of baking, I need to make cookies tomorrow. I own someone cookies for fixing my dryer.

Here are the phrases that my brain immediately zoomed in on because I'm a perv:
"(because I really like nuts)"
"I'll have to remember to pull it out sooner."
"I have another HUGE zucchini to work with."
