(Take Me) Out Tonight...well, last night, really

Last night I got to see the musical RENT for the fourth (or was it the fifth) time. Our seats were fabulous and the show, overall was wonderful. The messages presented in the show hit home with a little more force than some of my previous viewings. Roger was a little weak in the first act, but rallied in the second act to completely win me over ( Read more... )

Wasn't it incredible?! The show had me floored the whole time..although I do have to admit a little disappointment with Angel as well. I just didn't feel the same visceral energy from him as I did the rest of the cast.

Mark was indeed wonderful...Roger was great the whole time when I went thankfully (although the actor's British accent came through a couple of times...still, it was cute..lol)...and Collins...holy crap! Collins was out of this world! I admit he had me sobbing during the Reprise of "I'll Cover You".
