Writer's Block: Irksome Films

Hmmmm there have been so many terrible movies I seen or been dragged too. Wow this is harder then it seems......ummmm...  I am trying to think of movies that people thought were going to be good, but ended up being carp, not those low budget films you know are going to be bad.

Almost said "Speed Racer" it was horrible, but the winner for worst movie would be:

I Am Legend

It was sooo freakin bad. My problem was that I read the book first. I should have known when they moved it from LA to NYC that it was going to be bad, then with Will Smith, should have been the clincher..

It was so bad that I snuck in to see it and walked out before it was done, glad that I didn't spend money on it but angry that I spent time even watching it..

But Speed Racer was a close second...

I saw "I am Legend" but never read the book. While it was not a good movie, it was only until the end when I almost threw my hands up with the whole butterfly thing.

Read the book my Robert Matherson. He also wrote "What Dreams May Come". The book is nothing like the movie. They should have called the movie "I am Legend; so loosely based on the book by Robert Matherson, that the only thing in common is the name of 2 characters".

That would have fit better..
