However, every now and then, there comes along a person you just *fit* incredibly with and then you don't bother to check the other 6.99999.... billion people because, frankly, most of them are too damn far away. :) I don't believe we only have a chance at happiness with one person on the whole planet... yeah, that's just completely illogical. But I can see where the whole "soul mate" thing came from and it's become more of a way to say, "I'm perfectly happy and content with who I have, so everyone else can eff off, 'cause they don't have a chance." :)

That's exactly the point! To be happy, content with what one has. I think your case is a bit different though Lynn. :) Most people don't find what you and Ray have. You two are very lucky!

Yes, we are. :) I'll definitely agree with that one! But that was also born of a friendship that's lasted well over a decade - which I highly recommend to anyone. Best way to really get to know someone, since you're not trying to impress a potential mate. But, yeah... we did luck out. I wish more people had what we do, maybe there would be less misery in the world.

Totally agree. My theary is that of Neal's we are all a piece of the big collective broken off to experince ourselves in this surrounding.
Thats why the bible says to treat others as though it were yourself...Hrrmmmm intresting
