I finished Sense and Sensibility. And, naturally, I had to watch the dvd. Which is a little thin after reading the book. I think Austen did lose momentum at the end and just started telling us things, Marianne started to think that Colonel Brandon was supercoolnice and they got married and happily lived a supercoolnice life. The movie rearranged

I love the Austen film adaptions, though I have a problem with the books. I just can't get all that interested. I think because there's a lot of extraneous writing. And, yes, Alan Rickman. Such a loss.

This with the 1995 film of Persuasionare my favorites. I really enjoyed reading the book this time, found it hard to put down.
