HOLY SHIT, the BBC store has Elidor available on their downloading/streaming site! TAKE MY FUCKING MONEY NOW!!!!! (well, in a few days when I have a new laptop that will be able to cope with streaming stuff well) I'm not normally one for downloading, I prefer DVDs but they've certainly found my gateway drug! (release Archer's Goon, BBC. ( Read more... )

That's an awesome card! I look forward to any results :D

I kind of like the heat except that I'm tired out in it and I don't like not being able to snuggle under a duvet and my feet feel gross... okay, I guess what I mean is I like the SUN, I'm not sure I like the TEMPERATURE...

It is quite pleasing! I am enjoying playing around with it!

I like sun. And warmth. It's the temperature, definietely - if it could be warm and delightful in the day with a nice breeze but then cool down at night, I'd be fine but 30 degrees is BAD and WRONG.

This is an entirely reasonable comment... particularly considering how warm your house gets. (Right now it is grey but very stuffy here, which means I do not get the best of ANY world. Still, never being satisfied with the weather is a British trait, I guess ^^)

I am sorry the heat is so oppressive.

It is bad heat. More breeze and about two degrees less would suit me fine!

I hope you feel better soon: Illness and heat is rubbish!

I'd sign up to the BBC newsletter and wait for a for a %off voucher first. I got 75% off 'Our Mutual Friend' and I was glad I didn't pay DVD prices because BBC store is useless. It's a pain downloading and then the software wouldn't open because the computer hadn't updated (why??). My internet speed is slow so streaming stuff is difficult. Still it's nice to have shows available in some way - just about!

The bingo card looks fun;p

I'll give the heat this, it did help some of the cold burn off quicker, less time for it to multiply! On the other hand, it made the sore throat quite painful sometimes.

Ah, good idea. I'm sorry that it's a rubbish download, I was afraid of that. Still hopefully my shiny new laptop will find it crazy easy ... *fingers crossed*

Oh. My. GOD. I had completely forgotten about Elidor until you mentioned it and now I'm poking at the BBC site with almost-grabby hands (can't spend, saving for holiday, can't spend, saving for.... ooooh). Can I join you in the demand for Archer's Goon. I REALLY loved Awful and Hathaway and Tarquin and now just thinking about it has me itching to re-watch even thought my to-read pile is a bookshelf and a half! GAH!
