i had a lovely relaxing day today (unlike those poor people in london) .

i learned to play loads of leonard cohen songs on the piano, and as if that isnt exciting enough....i also learned nina simones i aint got no, i got life (also known as the muller advert)

its nice to have a whole day at home, not working or anything.

last night me and lana practiced our ne, soon to be showcased, act for two hours. we have 4 songs (3 rolling stones 1 belle and sebastien) and we're gonna do an open mike night! kudos to lana mainly, being such a fabulous pianist. we even managed to construct a drum kit (pots and pans).

i searched for the barracudas on live journal, and found 18 other people who listed them as an interest!! looks like dads band have reached the young people. maybe the new album will do well

so after getting hold of a Kate Bush video, i have decided that if i ever am in a band, i wanna be like her. you just cant argue with the hounds of love.
