Too bad no one uses Craigslist in Japan, I'm sure there were some treasures in there, maybe they could've fundraised some stuff for the school. Although . . I remember when I brought up garage sales in a class and everyone seemed confused and culture shocked. I got the impression that the Japanese aren't as interested in selling second-hand stuff, they either pass it down or throw it away. (Except for maybe media and collector toys)
