You haven't gone up north yet? :-( (I'm not counting Hokkaido, everyone goes there) Tohoku is where it's at, my friend!

You've been to way more prefectures than i've been to U.S. states. I need to travel more.

Japanese prefectures tend to be waaaay smaller than US states. It takes a lot less time to drive across one! I need to do more traveling in the States, too.

Wow, that's a lot of traveling! Be sure to see Yakushima in Kagoshima-ken, the most beautiful place I've ever been too and my favorite in Japan next to Hokkaido. It actually inspired Mononoke-hime, if you've seen that movie.

I worked in Fukushima-ken, but there's not really anything to see there that can't be found elsewhere. So if there's one prefecture you can skip, it's that one. (not exactly the poster boy for my ken, haha! People were great, but tourist attractions were meh)

Yeah, I really want to go to Yakushima! Definitely need to do an extended trip to Kyushu sometime.

Honestly, I don`t think I could find Fukushima on a map.
