Work has been awesome so far! I'm really happy. The people who work there (servers, cooks, managers) are all WICKED nice to me...so very helpful and approachable. I'm very happy at how it's turned out.  Thus far all my former fears have been unfounded and I'm having lots of fun and making TONS of $$ in tips, it's been great! Today was a whirlwind, but some really awesome things happened to me:

1. My dad got me up at 5:30 and we went on an 8-milke bikeride around Beavertail. SO beautiful!

2. I went to Newport 2 hours before my training started to get my special work shoes and a black belt, pants, and socks, all of which were sucessful and relatively cheap.

Today I started at Applebee's. I had a 2 1/2 hour orientation where we went over some procedures and filled out paper work and got our schedules. I start training tomorrow at 10:30. Hello Everyone! I totally have not been in the mood to update this thing recently. Until now, that is.

This weekend was spent in NY. Can I just say I LOVE Saratoga? I got there early Saturday morning (as my Friday was packed until midnight), and left at 7:30 on Sunday. On the way home, I saw God. Check this out:

Today I walked across hot pavement in my bare feet and the poor things burned and I got blisters :(

I went bathing suit shopping today and I looked terrible in all of them, but I got one anyway because I need one...all my old ones stretched out from the sun and salt water. I HATE bathing suits :(
