[What was there to say that he hadn't already said before? Soubi didn't expect anything in return for this; he never did. Being in the City for as long as he had... It was just a game, like biding his time until he could leave or--
Instead of acknowledging him with a look, blue eyes drifted to the table. Anywhere but his face.]
[He took his time with the ice cream, working to the tip of the stick before lifting his head to make a retort.]
But that has nothing to do with you.
[It didn't occur to him that this might be counterproductive to procuring more ice cream in the future. Roxas had never wanted anything he hadn't gotten in the end. Until he'd come to the City, anyway, but that was very different.]
[Useless, just standing there and watching that mouth slowly consume something he had so diligently created. It made him feel--]
No, it doesn't.
[And as he moved past him, some notion in his feet forcing him to go, Soubi paused long enough to reach out. His thumb brushed the corner of Roxas' mouth, cleaning it of the pale smear there. A reaction really, because he found it almost cute enough to leave it. Then, on he went towards one of the other rooms. He suddenly didn't want to deal with words anymore.]
[Soubi was - incomprehensible. If he'd cared, he would have found it infuriating. As it was, he had only a second to blink, unruffled and only slightly put off by sudden proximity - well, he was a Nobody; touch was a kind of feeling too - before Soubi was a shadow sweeping past.
Logic told him to portal back. He had what he'd come for. But... There was more in the freezer. And he'd learned enough from Sora to know that it wasn't done to walk away with someone else's freezer, particularly if you couldn't jump worlds to make sure that you wouldn't have to live with your Other's reaction, however traitorous he'd been.
He followed, instead, to the door of the other room. Fingertips brushing the wood, he leaned against the frame and waited, still gnawing restlessly at the ice cream.]
