Wow, I've been there. Pretty much for the last 6 years since I graduated High School. I think I'm still on Acedemic Probation, not that I'm braging or noth'n. I'd like to say it took me six years to figure out what I wanted to do with School but really it seems like it took much longer.
Like you said you'll probably do better if you had an actuall "goal" you were working for instead of just G.E.'S untill you figure it out.
I've been trying to stay in school myself, but it seems like something always gets in the way.
Pergatory sucks but it won't stay that way forever. :D You'll find your path soon.

I'm going to be brutally honest here and say I don't think that you could handle working at an orphanage. Teaching would be very similar, except it wouldn't be AS overwhelming. And I think you're overlooking the horrors that go on behind closed doors in an orphanage. Let me put it this way

dls man, sickness is everywhere... i woke up sick on like thursday morning. my friend said that that is the common thing when you get your septum done. but yeah... i was already edging on sick and i doubt my piercing enhanced it.
