I am THRILLED that Obama was Elected

I remember a political cartoon by Tony Auth that appeared shortly after Clinton was elected. It showed Bush riding away on an enormous elephant that had left behind itself huge balls of poop. Clinton, meanwhile, was seated on a little donkey with a pooper scooper. I thought it perfectly exemplified the situation Clinton was heading into -- yet, his administration fixed it. It's true Obama has a tremendous amount of work ahead of him, but I think he and the advisors he chooses will be up to it.

I'm really excited as well. I felt like I had been burnt by the past two presidential elections but I feel really optimistic about Obama.
