for the portfolio....i'd suggest university of toronto-mississauga but it's usually for students. your best bet is to email your stuff to every zine you know. it's a lot of ass work but the more stuff you have out, the better chances are with someone really liking your work. it's hard to have any credibility as a highschool student but if you work it, it will come. that was the serious part, now for the fun part. at the university fair, it would be most wonderful if you picked me up some cool light up pens and magnets or pins or whatever they're giving out. and you're going to see a clockwork orange musical!?????? can i have a playbook??

when you refer to UTM, are you talking about writing for them, or applying there? do they even have a good journalism program...cos i don't think they do.
