I have Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I'm 27 and have been fighting (and am still fighting) it for the past 3 years, and though it's supposed to be an easy cancer to cure mine is unusually aggressive. I always like to remind people that each case, though it's the same disease, is different so don't be worried that your husband will have to fight for as long as me. There isn't too many people who respond on this site but I'm here for you if you would like to talk. Just so you know my computer isn't working, I'm using my friend's computer right now, but if you write back I'll make sure to respond it just may take a few days.
Thank you. I don't know what to expect and the doctor isn't really telling me anything. All I get is that Hodgkins is an easy to cure cancer and that's it and I just...I'm really scared. I'm going through a lot right now with this, and so is he, and I just needed somebody to talk to, somebody to understand what I'm feeling and what I'm going through.
I don't want you thinking I forgot about you, it's just that I haven't got my computer back yet. Right now I am at my friends house using hers.
I got the same shpeil when I first got diagnosed and all I can say is that no matter how easy the disease is supposed to be to cure going through the process is not so easy. I should be getting my computer back anyday and I will be in contact more regularly.
