Currently on a project to not only update my old notebooks to digital formats, but to actually recycle the papers once documented. Pulling out the blank pages is a quick way to cut down on the physical side of the load, so I'm doing that as an early stage. Each blank page feels like a wasted opportunity; lost minutes.

I just spent 90 minutes lying in a bathtub, reading a book. I haven't had the time to do that in...months?

Finished another of the big- well, medium-sized- household projects tonight. Yaye for progress of at least one kind!

I am trying out a new job. It is very...jobby. Interesting work in a manufacturing setting that is Of Interest To Me, but it doesn't look like I am going to be landing quite in the pay bracket I had hoped for. It just took me four hours to write a single page of prose. : P

...on the other hand, I think I successfully wrote a page's worth of perspective from a character who is suffering the long-term effects of a nervous breakdown and a life of daily trauma. We'll see how I feel about it tomorrow.

Note to self and Aaron:
Apparently we should watch "Finding Forrester" for inspiration / triumphing over writers block.

Also, you should write more.
