i just had a moment.

one of my closest friends in New Orleans is my classmate, co-worker, and a future baptist minister.  i know, crazy.  we just had a discussion on evangelical christians after i watched the movie Jesus Camp. It progressed into how much we have taught each other since meeting a few months ago.

i just got 7 inches cut off my hair. i feel like i just lost a piece of myself and now i'm jealous of everyone i see with long hair.  Four inches was okay but not seven.  damn aveda school.

i post only when avoiding reading.  it is physically impossible to do all this reading, but i try anyhow.  ::sigh:: i'm fucking bored. this city is huge but somehow i have like five friends. i haven't laughed in three days.

yesterday there was a brief moment when saying "i hate my life right now" was totally fitting and acceptable.  :  i drove to work and my car died. after work several of my co-volunteers helped me try to jump it and figure out what was wrong. new alternator.
