Adventures in Cadaverland, Part I

While standing out in the hallway and slowly breathing in the lovely smell of the cadaver lab, I started to feel weak.  My fingers were tingling and my brain felt fuzzy.  I was given my scrubs, gloves and lab coat and it started really sinking in.  I have always wanted to do a cadaver lab, but here I was moments before, and I thought I was going to ( Read more... )

were all the donors old people? i don't think i could cut into a young person because i'd be too distracted by wondering what they were like in life...

but lynden thanks for blogging about it! this is the best thing i've read on LJ in a loooong time. and it's educational, too!

Yeah, I think so, Norman was one of the younger ones. I know a group had a 90 year old lady! It's cool also because they all have different diseases, like one had a mastectomy and one has a pacemaker etc...
