Notes: I started this in 2007, and thought I was never going to finish it. But last week I started working on it again, and actually finished! Minor continuity error with the rest of the series.

I love love love this story! (To the point where I've envisioned a completely unrealistic sequel where Jim visits Bruce wearing a haz-mat suit and Bruce lets go. *winces* Not what you had in mind, I know, but the overgrown kid in me still envisions happy endings, even if the writer has no plans to add them.)

At least now, I can go back to the original and add to favorites!

I'm glad you like it! And isn't imagining your own endings what it's all about? I do know that there's a happy ending for Bruce, eventually, but I have no idea how it comes about, and I don't think I could write that story anyway. (the original plan was, um, Cass struggles through school and becomes a psychologist, but I really really can't write that.)

You pulled me right into your story- love it! Love that Gordon knows everything. Clark coming to save Gotham for Bruce- yea, that's perfect. I hate to see Bruce in Arkham, I didn't see that coming. I wish that Clark could help him...?
