Wasn´t it just so glorious and heartbreaking at the same time? I´m still completely blown away. So little time, but such a purrfect characterization of both the Doctor in general and Eight as an incarnation. I so loved the "4 minutes is ages" speech, all stupid, desperate bravado and arrogance and so wonderfully delivered. I have to admit, I wanted Eight to be the Time War Doctor and the one to push the button even after Mr. Hurt was announced, but the way things played out just make too much sense for it to happen any other way. And was that glimpse of a younger Hurt Doctor cool or what? Must have been hell being around in the Time War for so long. (I always thought Mr. Hurt quite attractive in his younger days, never conventionally handsome, but just so appealing in that sad-faced, dog-eyed way of his. But maybe that´s just me once again avoiding anything reeking of "classical beauty" ^_
