The Emmys (thoughts and a fic)

30 Rock got 22 nominations for the Emmys!! Woot!! I'm just so glad some new people like Jane and Jack got some love this year. They absolutely deserve the recognition just as much as Tina and Alec do, in my opinion.

So a rather lovely occurrence has happened over the past week or so. I have gotten excited about the Emmy nominations being announced

Aww, this was great. What great timing too! It's already been said, but I loved the subtle progression of Jack and Liz's relationship. And of course, that they were together at the end :)

Thanks so much! Haha, I would be lying if I said that the timing wasn't intentional. I started writing it and I thought, "Hmm, it should be done around then. Maybe hold it a day to post it after the nominations...?" ;)

That line is unbelievably spot-on as were all the voices. I looooove undertones in fics too, the J/L interaction was enough flirting and enough friendship. ALso I liked Liz taking her shoes off!

Aww, thank you! I figured that Jack would have to connect his confidence in her back to him somehow. :) Haha, I'm glad you appreciated Liz taking her shoes off as she sat there. I was actually contemplating having her accept the award barefoot, but it really didn't work out after I wrote it. I'm happy with this, though, so I'm glad you liked it!
