Dialogue is perfect. Love Jack's voice and reasoning in particular. Personally I like things fleshed out more, I like to see the characters, where they are, their expressions etc, but that may just be me being a control freak :D I still enjoyed reading this, and could kinda fill in the blanks myself, but yeah, that's my take.

Thanks! Yeah, I know what you mean about liking it fleshed out more. I usually do too. I did this a while back more as an exercise to see if I had their voices down and just thought I'd post it here. Thanks for reading, though, even if this isn't exactly your cup of tea! :D

Oh, it's still my cup of tea if it has Jack and Liz in it and in any way references them making out!
And often I start with just dialogue too, 'cause that's the part you have to capture when writing these too, imo -- and you did so...still a success!
the funny thing is tho' i started a fic the other day and just coincidentally, it turned out to be entirely dialogue. I've never done that, so i'm hoping it's going to work for the subject so...we'll see :D
