A chair of my own

At the age of 46, I have picked out two chairs completely on my own. I picked one out last year, for my dayroom/computer room. It's an office chair. Yesterday, my husband and I went shopping for a new mattress, and we settled on one. Like most of our furniture decisions, it was a compromise. I left my husband to settle things up in the back of

You'd have to put up with Sapphire's temper tantrums, though I'm sure you've seen worse. But having you move in sounds good, we could gang up on Bill.

Good God, how I wish I had a comfy chair. I mean, sure, the couch is dandy; my rocking chair is, in itself, a nudge and a wink to my post-natal days (I was rocked in it, or so my father told me--he could have been just trying to get rid of the damn chair); we have two bamboo papasan chairs given to us by friends (who bought them in Tawain thirty-some years ago), but auntie em is the only household fan of those (other than the Shrew Twins, our cats), so I'm ever in search if a comfy chair. I just want one that I can read in and fall asleep without waking up to a headache.

In short, I want a chair that will herald my entry into old age. ;)

Of course, bonus points to a company or craftsman who can make me a chair that will set off an orgasm. Not all of us can be as lucky as you, Lynn.

Ummmm, my BACK had the orgasm, not other bits of me. And I DESERVE this chair, I've put up with bad chairs and couches for decades. This chair is MINE. When I can manage to get my husband and/or the cat out of it.

Oh, and the chair AND ottoman together cost about US$140. I don't know how long it will last, but while it does, I intend to enjoy it.
