Elspeth and Emmalon were driven out of their land after ant-spirit-blessed nationals rebelled against their mother's reign. Their father, Charles, was an air-blessed King, and married their Spirit-Blessed mother. After his death, honoring a Spirit-Blessed on the throne of an Air populated fief was a bit much. Furthermore, after she took the throne, Spirit-Blessed started moving in, making themselves at home and living off their energy.
