Glee 3.08 Hold on to Sixteen
7 things that were awesome about this Tuesday:
1. OH MY GOD JENNA HAD LINES AND THEN LIKE CARRIED A SONG WHAT EVEN. I just. I have no words for this beyond IWEUHWOIEJFSLDKFJSLDGHALKJSDLKFJ. And all my laughs that she basically had a conversation about Asian actors never getting work ahahahahahahaha. oh god. sad.
2. Quinn/Rachel. Every time I stop shipping them this show decides to reel me back in. The shipper in me is flailing that it was Rachel that finally got through to Quinn while the rational part of me is like...how? I'm really just happy they had scenes together oh my god. Like the first damn scene? Why did Quinn even go over there to talk to Rachel? I get it when Rachel runs after Quinn because Rachel has a history of like chasing Quinn to talk to her, but Quinn usually only seeks her out with a purpose like WE'RE ABOUT TO HAVE A SMACKDOWN. So basically they're in love is what I'm saying. Deal with it.
3. Hand holding. HAND HOLDING. This applies to both Brittany/Santana feelings (all my brittana college angst feelings during that conversation though) and Santana/Rachel feelings. But oh jeez the brittana hand holding. Fingers intertwining. The only thing that would have made me like it better is if Brittany had reached for Santana instead of the other way around. More Brittany making the first move instead of Santana please. kthx. I know we're playing catchup from Brittany making it for years - I can totally reconcile this in my head - but I just want one moment that focuses on Brittany going for it instead of Santana. It can be really stupid just like, Brittany looking over first or something IDEK. Also more Heather making nonawkward faces instead of the ones she ends up with lmao. I love that girl, but she needs to deal with the things her face should be doing. Her and Naya need to have a pow wow or something.
4. We Are Young. Firstly I'm glad they all got out of their atrocious Sectionals outfits. Just eyesores all around, IMO. Then, there just needs to be more group numbers in general when they're just having fun and smiling everywhere. I like it when they all love each other. Plus, all my damn ships in this moment. Like just Rachel hugging Sam and then making fucking I LOVE YOU ETERNALLY eyes at Santana. Like what the fuck face direction where you guys given because it looked like you wanted to marry the shit out of each other. I don't think Rachel and Santana are supposed to look like that. AOWEIHWSLKDFJDSDF that awkward moment when I freak out over a brittana handhold for like five seconds because then pezberry melts my brain. HATE YOU BOTH.
5. Sam Evans. SAM EVANS. Or should I say White Chocolate? I'm so glad he's back. All my Sam ships felt a serious resurge. Even the brotps - Mike tripping over his damn chair to hug him oh my god. Help. And then...the obvious...all my Samchel and Blam feels. Just all over. ALL OVER.
6. Mike Chang. I'm a little shocked that he had this storyline with his father that lasted more than one episode and was then...resolved. I didn't know Glee could do that! So all my Mike future feels. All over the place. I just want to hug his face all day everyday.
7. Buenos Aires. Okay, in reality, I would have rather had another Troubletones performance in this slot, but since I can't do anything to change that I'll mention that I really appreciated this song. Evita is one of my favorite all time musicals first of all. Second of all, Lindsay was hilariously like...snarky during her performance I don't even know. She just really amused me. I likeeeeed it.
