Glee 3.09 Extraordinary Merry Christmas

7 things that were awesome about this Tuesday:

1. The Blaine and Rachel show. They need to sing all the duets together always. Everything about Extraordinary Merry Christmas was flawless. Their faces, their 'come hither' gestures. The fact that she gave him a bowtie and capri pants and just slkdjfsldkdlkdjf (the fact that Blaine made a sock joke can we talk about this?) I just need them to be bffs that move to New York together and go to drunk karaoke every Thursday night. I've watched the duet about...ten times already...so...~feelings~

2. Those two cheerleaders that I'm in love with (and that are in love with each other). They had all these cute side moments that I need them to keep having forever. The handhold and the way Brittany leaned her head against Santana's and the dancing during everything. I cannot choose a favorite moment. I really, truly, honestly do not need them to make out on this show. I know that everyone and their mom disagrees with me here, but sincerely, if you pretend that this show does things purposely and not negligently - the way these two physically interact without kissing is kind of awesome. We're first introduced to them with 'sex is not dating' and then later we get scissoring and they've presumably had like six million kisses, but we never really see them hold hands and stuff and just like sldkfjdlfjd they were doing it on TELEVISION. Santana Lopez held Brittany's hand on television. WITHOUT A NAPKIN OVER IT. I can't with anything anymore. This is also why I was so okay with not having them really involved in the First Time storylines and so forth because sex is not a big deal in their relationship. They've had sex too many times to count, but shit like...will you hold my fucking hand in public, or are we actually dating and all that stuff is HUGE. And they way they hug, the things they do with their hands...I just...I have so many feelings about them, guys. You don't even know. I'm happy with what we're getting - backgrounds stuff. Naya already snuck in one cheek kiss. I think it's safe to hope it'll happen again and, seriously, I'm happy with it.

Make no mistake, I'm not saying Glee shouldn't have them make out. I'm just saying that I'm so okay if it doesn't happen.

3. Finn Skywalker and Puck Solo. Do I really need to say more?

4. Sam Evans. I cannot stress enough how happy I am to have him back on my television. His little scene with Quinn. Damn. Sam/Quinn was my one of my original Quinn/Happiness ships back in the day. I just like how he tells it to her straight. And then the Sam/Rory! Like I really have room in my heart for more freakin' Sam ships. Just stop being adorable and perfect please.

5. Don't They Know It's Christmas? Shipping all the ships all the time in every performance. This one just made it too easy. Plus, Naya's part? Get in my bed. Her face was perfection as well.

6. Christmas Wrapping. Just because Heather plays Brittany so adorably sometimes that I just don't know what to do with myself.

7. Santa Baby. Oh...wait. Awkward..... No, actually, I get why it was cut and I'm fine with it, but I better be getting that as a DVD extra or something because the two seconds of it in the promo was probably the shining moment of this episode as a whole.

episode reaction: glee, tuesdays are awesome, the blaine and rachel show
