The Originals
To date, the "Mini Me" trio has not captured my enthusiasm. Each one is a less fun copy of - well, the original. Lucien is not as wily as Klaus, nor as witty; Tristan is not as elegant nor sardonic as Elijah. Aurora at least has some of Rebekah's spirit. She's mildly interesting if only because she's half nuts. I get that the show is holding up a mirror to the family but it's not really that insightful? So far it hasn't shown us any character traits that we didn't already know about. Perhaps we'll see more as the season progresses.
I love Cami. She is more awesome with every episode. It looks as if Aurora turned her, which could be cool. As much as I love having a non-superpowered person in the cast, I think Leah Pipes could do a lot with the struggles of suddenly becoming a vampire.
Marcel and Davina have been pretty underused this season. I hope they give them more to do soon.
In other TV news, Agents of Shield was excellent last week and this week. And Agent Carter returns in January, YAY.
