3rd Annual Lynnevitational Ficathon
It's time for the 3rd annual lynnevitational ficathon! For those of who you need a refresher course, this is an invitation-only ficathon, the purpose of which is to encourage talented writers to keep producing good Buffyverse/Angelverse fic. For the past two years, we have had some wonderful fics by some truly phenomenal writers.
This year, as before, the guest list starts off with those people who contributed a fic last year. So, this year's guest list is:

Each of these guests may invite two other writers to participipate. Your guests should be people whom you consider to be talented writers, and who will try to do justice to the source material.
The deadline will be some time in June (exact date TBD), so you'll all have plenty of time. And since I am the most constipated writer in fandom, there will likely be a deadline extension. ;)
Last year we had very few people sign up for the traditional ficathon format, wherein each writer is assigned a fic based on a prompt. So this year, I have decided to let each guest write whatever the hell she wants, as long as it meets the following criteria:
THE RULES:
1. Each writer will write a Buffyverse/Angelverse story of her own choosing. If your choice is to finish that fic that's been lingering on your hard drive for ages *cough*me*cough* or the fic you started for last year's lynnevitational (liz_marcs, I'm looking at you ;), then by all means, go for it!
2. No RPS. No parody-fic. No cross-over fics. No human AUs. Don't get me wrong, I have read and written all these formats. But the point of this exercise is to write Buffyverse/Angelverse fic that stays as true to the source material as possible. You don't have to adhere strictly to canon, but if you depart from it, please try to keep the characters... in character.
3. Each of the original guests may invite TWO other writers to join. Your guests should be people you consider to be good writers who will try to stay true to the characters.
4. You may post your finished fic in this community, to your own LJ, or both. If you post it to your own LJ, please leave a link in this community so our members can find it.
If your name is on the guest list, please sign up below with the names and e-mail addresses of your two invited guests. I will send them an invitaiton on your behalf. ALL COMMENTS ARE SCREENED FOR PRIVACY. I'll keep the guest list updated as new writers accept and sign up.
