Getting a random call from someone who you haven't spoken to in several years...someone who you hurt and hurt you...can be akward. But the call I got yesterday wasn't as bad as it could have been...I honestly was a little dumbfounded, plus at work so I could only muster up simple responses, though honest ones

i know this must've been hard, but its better to have her ask you out right than submit it and win and you find out someway. and maybe you'll get credit of some kind somehow if something comes of it.

I honestly don't care about the credit. I guess I should but its not that important to me. Though it was nice of her to ask...I'm appreciative of that.

Life sure throws us a lot of surprises. It's kind of sad that we lose touch with people. I'm kind of guilty of that a lot, though. The internet makes it easier to keep in touch but I think it's sometimes a matter of growing apart.
