I think my landlord really is going to sabotage me. I called to get my lease date and never heard back after he told me he'd call me in the morning and after I called the next day. So Monday I included a letter with my rent check and dropped it off asking to please call to review my lease and have called this week and left yet another message that

As someone who's moved many times over the years, I can completely understand why you want to avoid the hassle. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. In my mind, because if I were to actually keep my fingers crossed, I wouldn't be able to eat diner.
